One document that can make VO job easier is snap shot of your profile. This is not actually a resume. But, kind of snap shot of which university you are going, major you are planning to pursue and a quick educational details. Not more than that. VO can get a quick overview about you in couple of seconds. This will make VO job easier to make his decision. Never include age, sex, passport details etc in this resume or typing “resume” on the top of document will only say that you are not yet matured to pursue education in US. You would have already included those details in DS-156.This document should only be quick profile snapshot. This is not a mandatory document as part of visa application, but providing a snap shot will tell VO that you have done your homework before the interview.

As usual, don’t make any typo’s, no colored fonts, no borders and definitely not more than 1 page. Do not use this document if your score is below 1000 in GRE or have backlogs or appearing to visa interview without GRE or TOEFL.
